This Ain't No Monarchy

Simply put, I do not support Hillary Clinton, because we do not live in a monarchy. 8 years of GWB, 8 year of Bill, 4 years of GHWB (not to mention 8 before that as VP)... It's been 20 years since we've had a president that wasn't one of two "royal" families. If Hillary is elected, that will make at least 24. Isn't this country supposed to be about Democracy and diversity?

Hillary may or may not be a talented and capable politician - the fact is she would not be a senator from New York, and certainly not a presidential candidate, if it weren't for her spouse. That's the first thing on her resumé.

More of the same, after the last 2 decades of american politics? No thanks.

Update: Shut up, Bill

Update, Feb. 7th: via oliverwillis.com: With Clinton going the way of Romney and "loaning" her own campaign $5 million, if you contribute to Clinton now, you are essentially giving money so the campaign can pay Hillary back - that is, you are contributing to Hillary and Bill personally, not the campaign at all. Who would do that?
